Why anchormoorad
What anchormoorad gives you that a search engine cannot
Information about Malaysian retirement schemes is publicly available. The challenge is not finding it — it is reading it carefully, understanding how it relates to your household's documents, and building a folder that will still make sense two years from now.

Six things anchormoorad does differently
Each of these reflects a deliberate choice made when the service was designed — and a commitment maintained across every session since 2019.
Scope Defined Up Front
Before any session begins, participants receive a written description of what the session covers. There are no surprises, no scope creep, and no services introduced mid-session.
- Session format given in advance
- No additional products offered
Facilitators Who Read the Material
The people running anchormoorad sessions have read the EPF, KWAP, and PERKESO publications carefully. They know which pages are most relevant and how to point participants to the right sections without assuming prior knowledge.
- Annual material review
- Session-by-session preparation notes
A Folder You Take Home
The setup session produces a physical records map that belongs to the participant. Annual programme households also receive a structured folder at year-end. The deliverable is something you can use independently, not something that requires returning to anchormoorad.
- One-page records map included
- Structured folder for annual members
Small Group Sizes
Reading groups are kept to eight participants. This means the group leader can spend time on each person's reading log and no one is left behind in a page flip that moves too quickly.
- Maximum eight per cohort
- Individual reading log per participant
No Referral Relationships
anchormoorad does not have referral arrangements with financial planners, insurance agents, or investment advisers. There is nothing to be earned by pointing a participant elsewhere — and so nothing to motivate such a suggestion.
- No third-party referral fees
- No product upselling
Scheduled at a Considered Pace
Reading groups meet once a week, not daily. Annual programme check-ins are spaced quarterly. The pace is set to allow participants to absorb what they have read before they return for the next session.
- Weekly reading sessions
- Quarterly programme rhythm
Facilitators who know the source materials well
anchormoorad facilitators read EPF, KWAP, PERKESO, and related publicly available materials as a core part of their preparation. They are not generalists reading from a slide deck — they have spent time with the actual documents participants will encounter in a session.
This familiarity means that when a participant points to a confusing paragraph, the facilitator can locate the relevant explanatory section in the source material rather than paraphrasing from memory. The source is always on the table.
Knowledge maintained through:
- Annual review of all session reading materials
- Facilitator preparation notes produced before each cohort
- Cross-reference of EPF, KWAP, and PERKESO documentation
- Six years of session delivery and participant questions
The organisational approach includes:
- A labelling system built around Malaysian document types
- A one-page records map produced at every setup session
- Folder structure organised by family member, then document type
- A list of official channels for each document category
A folder structure built for Malaysian households
anchormoorad's filing approach was designed around the specific types of documents that Malaysian households accumulate over a working life: EPF member statements, KWAP contribution records, nomination forms, MyKad copies, income tax filings, property documents, and insurance policy summaries.
The structure is simple enough to maintain without ongoing assistance. A participant who attended a setup session in January can update their folder in December with no difficulty, because the labels and categories remain constant.
Patience as a working principle, not a slogan
Many participants come to anchormoorad sessions with decades of accumulated documents and a deep uncertainty about what any of it means. Some have never read a full EPF statement. Some have documents in two languages. Some bring envelopes that have not been opened.
Sessions are not timed to a tight schedule. Facilitators work through what each participant brings without showing impatience or moving ahead before the person is ready. This is a practical requirement of the service, not a marketing statement.
What this looks like in practice:
- Sessions begin with a brief explanation of what will happen
- Participants set the pace of the labelling and sorting work
- Reading group questions are welcomed and noted
- Follow-up questions answered by email within two working days
Pricing at a glance:
- Personal Records Setup Session (2 hrs) RM 510
- Reading Group on Retirement Documentation (6 sessions) RM 1,780
- Annual Household Records Programme (full year) RM 4,420
Transparent pricing with no additional fees
anchormoorad charges a single programme fee for each service. There are no material fees, no follow-up charges, no fees for asking questions between sessions. The price quoted is the price paid.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer before the first session. Annual programme fees may be discussed on an instalment basis for households with scheduling constraints.
Comparison
anchormoorad compared to other approaches
Many households look to online searches, financial advisers, or informal conversations to address the same underlying need. Here is how those options differ from a structured organisational session.
What Sets Us Apart
Features you will not find elsewhere
A Records Map Designed for Malaysian Documents
The one-page map produced during a setup session is structured specifically around document types common to Malaysian households: EPF and KWAP correspondence, LHDN filings, property titles, and family identity documents. It is not a generic filing template.
Cross-Scheme Reading Coverage
Reading group sessions draw on material from EPF, KWAP, PERKESO, and relevant public bodies together, rather than focusing on a single scheme. Participants leave with a broader reading foundation than they would from a session focused on one body alone.
Personal Reading Logs, Not Handouts
Participants in the reading group build their own reading log across the six sessions rather than receiving a pre-written summary. The log is theirs; they decide what to note and how to annotate it. This makes the material stick longer than a passive handout would.
Quarterly Check-In Rather Than Annual
The annual programme spaces its four touchpoints across the calendar year. Most households that try to maintain their own folders without support let things drift after the initial setup. A quarterly check-in catches that drift before it becomes a problem.
